B.U.I.L.D. (1 Thess 5:11)
KPC volunteer event will be held on Saturday February 11th, 8:30 AM to 12 NOON at the Good Hope campus. This time of encouragement and training is for all current (and potential) volunteers and staff at both the Good Hope and Hartselle campuses. There will be a general session and then breakouts on each area of our children's ministry including the nursery, preschool, kids church, and Wednesday night leaders. There will also be a brief first aid/cpr training for all staff on this day. Childcare and brunch provided. Please make this event a priority team!
LiVe WiRe Award
We want to give a shout out to Karen Suits, the recipient of this year's 'LiVe WiRe' award, Children's Ministry Volunteer of the Year! Karen has volunteered in Children's Ministry here at Daystar for over 5 years. She serves in KPC Wee every Sunday a.m. at the 9:30 service and also serves in KPC Jr, special events, and more. We appreciate not only her dedication, but her attitude, perseverance, and loving care of our kids. Standing O please!!!
