To all Kids Ministry Volunteers
KPC Volunteers,
Our church growth consultant visited Daystar last Sunday to give the staff a
critique of each area of ministry. The staff did not know that he was coming,
so his analysis of the kids department was a true evaluation. He evaluated
each area of ministry on 3 criteria: physiological, ministeriological, and
missionological. Each area received a possible grade of A thru F. To
summarize, this is his comment about the children, nursery and preschool
areas:
CHILDREN AND NURSERY: "... the care, production and support of
these programs (the children's and ministry) deserve awards - A+"
WOW - A+ ! Now close your eyes - just imagine - at this
moment I am giving you all a standing ovation in my office!! Thank you for your
dedication, your commitment to excellence, and your hard work - it does not
go unnoticed or unappreciated.
Thanks for your loving care and heart to make a difference in the lives of our
children!

Volunteer Schedules
Beverly Leith is our 2010 Kids Power Company volunteer of the year! Beverly has served
the children and parents of Daystar for over 5 years. She has served in many different
capacities over the years and has proven to be a dedicated and valuable part of the
Children's Ministry Staff. Beverly currently serves on the KPC leadership team and is the
Wednesday evening coordinator. Beverly also leads Kids Church often on Saturday
evenings and teaches 3rd and 4th grade girls on Wednesday nights. Beverly is married to
Barry Leith and they have two teenage sons, Braiden and Colter. We appreciate Beverly
for her compassion and heart for ministry. Congratulations!
